    More energy…

This brand has been the best I have tried, it is so easy to take, no bad taste… I take 3 drops in the morning in an empty stomach and it doesn’t upset my stomach. I notice more energy throughout the day as well as a more peaceful and better mood. Very happy with this company.

Frequently Asked Questions

Iodine is crucial for thyroid function, metabolism, and immune support. Your body needs iodine to produce thyroid hormones. These hormones regulate many body systems. Iodine also supports brain health and plays a key role in fetal development and breast health in women. Iodine helps maintain a healthy thyroid gland in both men and women.*

People with low iodine intake often benefit from a good iodine supplement. This may include vegans, vegetarians, and pregnant women. Those who do not consume iodized salt or seafood often have fluctuating thyroid hormone levels or thyroid hormone conversion.* Iodine deficiencies are common in these groups. Taking an iodine supplement can help maintain adequate iodine levels for those without adequate iodine in their diet.

Iodine deficiency causes specific symptoms, such as occasional fatigue, brain fog, cold sensitivity, or dry skin. Changes to body composition is also a sign. Iodine deficiency during pregnancy is a serious concern for fetal development. A qualified healthcare professional can assess your symptoms and help you decide if you need an iodine supplement.

Our liquid iodine formula allows for precise dosing. This makes it a more flexible choice compared to pills. The liquid form ensures easy absorption. Liquid potassium iodide is often considered the best iodine source for bioavailability. Precise dosing supports healthy thyroid function without the risk of excessive iodine intake.*

As a mineral supplement, add 0.2 mL (4 drops) in water or juice daily, or more as directed by a licensed HCP. Shake well. Do not refrigerate.

Yes. Consuming excess iodine can lead to thyroid imbalance. Getting too much iodine creates a risk of thyroid issues like an overactive thyroid. Consult with your healthcare provider to determine your personal iodine needs.

Iodine is vital for the thyroid but requires caution. People with thyroid disease or hypothyroidism should speak to a doctor. If you take thyroid medication, consult your provider before adding a supplement. High iodine intake can interact with medications. As a dietary supplement, this product is not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any disease or replace the use of any medication.

BodyBio Liquid Iodine contains iodine as potassium iodide. This form of iodine is a common and effective way for the body to get iodine. Potassium iodide remains stable and absorbs well. It provides the pure iodine your thyroid needs.

The recommended daily allowance for adults is typically 150 mcg. Pregnant women need more iodine to support fetal growth and development.* A prenatal supplement often contains iodine, but it might not be enough. Our iodine drops allow you to get exactly 150 mcg or more if advised. Check with a healthcare professional to determine the right mcg amount for you.

Sources of iodine include seaweed, fish, and dairy products. Iodized salt is another common source. Levels in many plant-based foods are low because iodine is taken up from the soil, which may be depleted. If you don’t get enough iodine from food, you might have low iodine intake. Supplements help ensure you get adequate iodine.

This product contains potassium iodide, which provides potassium and iodine. The amount of potassium is very small compared to the amounts in dietary sources. It typically does not significantly alter blood potassium levels. However, check with your healthcare provider if you monitor your potassium levels. It’s important to get the right balance.
